Success Leaves Clues

Huge congratulations to Dylan Moore on earning a spot on the Phillies’ 40-man roster.

This moment didn’t happen overnight. It’s the result of 9 years of work, consistency, and doing things the right way when nobody’s watching.

For 3 of those 9 years, I had the opportunity to travel and train Dylan on the road. Living in that environment—right on the edge of being part of the team—gave me a different level of insight as a coach. It showed me exactly what players need, and more importantly, what’s often missing.

Not once during that time did he deal with an injury that set him back.
That doesn’t happen by accident. That’s preparation, discipline, and a standard applied every single day, with a system we both designed.

During that same stretch:
– Career-high stolen bases
– Gold Glove
– Showed up every day, ready to work—regardless of the situation

That’s what I mean when I say success leaves clues.

It’s not just talent.
It’s how you train.
How you recover.
How you take care of your body.

How you handle the mental side of the game.
And how consistent you are when it matters most.

Proud of you, D. This is just the next step.

Here’s to another 9 years… haha, maybe not—but I wouldn’t bet against it.
