Off-season training

Train like a pro. Our system and coaching have helped some of the best lacrosse players in the country—over 20 All-Americans, a Tewaaraton Award winner, two Tewaaraton semifinalists, and national champions across Divisions I, II, and III. Additionally, at the college ranks, we've helped a college walk-on become the ACC Player of the Year, SSC Player of the year, and helped Rollins College win its first and only conference championship. We have trained Florida's school-leading scorer and assist leader in high school, as well as Team USA athletes, PLL champions, and PLL All-Stars. At the high school level, our athletes have driven six programs to the state championship game, with five claiming the title. Eight Under Armour All-Americans, Six Central Florida Players of the Year, and for under-the-radar guys, we've helped walk-ons earn their place at Syracuse and Johns Hopkins.

This off-season, you can train inside that same system.

This 10-week program begins on January 5th, with three training phases designed to build strength, speed, agility, conditioning, flexibility, and durability. Every athlete starts with a complete performance assessment to establish a precise baseline. You'll receive a tailored nutrition handout—including daily fueling and game-day protocols—so your training, recovery, and performance align with purpose.

The team at Salient are true professionals who understand what you need, when you need it, and how to accomplish it. I’ve used their methods from 7th grade to the professional ranks.
— Jared Bernhardt, 2 Sport College Athlete, Univeristy of Marylans D1 Lacrosse National Champion, Tewaaraton Award Winner, Ferris State Football, DII National Champion QB, Atlanta Falcons WR , Denver Outlaws
Salient delivered on everything we asked. Not only did our kids get the cliché stronger, faster, and agile, but they stayed injury-free, helping my daughter win a state championship, 2X All American, Lacrosse Player of the Year, and now playing at the D1 level. With my son, he gained the additional weight he needed while becoming an All-American and now also playing at the D1 level. We couldn’t recommend Salient enough!
— Chris Jaskiewicz, parent of Jacqueline and Chris
I’ve been working with Salient Performance for the past nine years—first as an athlete and now as a personal training client through their online coaching. Their training has been a massive part of my success.
Jon and Aurelia guided me through injuries during my career, always getting me back healthy and, most importantly, ready to compete when the season started. Their knowledge, programming, and care made all the difference.
If you’re looking for coaches who genuinely care about you and your performance, Salient Performance is for you!
— Jackson Canfield, University of Maryland Lacrosse
Salient has been with me every step of the way — from high school, to Maryland, to the professional level. I walked in at 170 lbs thinking I was “ready.” By the time I left for college, I was 190 lbs, stronger, faster, and running a 4.49 in fall testing.
What makes Salient different is the precision. Nothing is cookie-cutter. Every phase and every progression is tailored to the athlete — and the standard is constantly evolving.
Just as important as getting stronger was learning how to stay healthy. Salient taught me how to fuel, recover, and manage a season so I could stay on the field and contribute.
They didn’t just build me into a better athlete — they shaped my lifestyle, my mindset, and my approach to the work. I’m grateful for the coaching, the care, and the friendship.
— Jake Bernhardt, Team USA Bronze Medalist, PLL, Whipsnakes, Head Lacrosse Coach Colby College
I’ve trained with Salient for nine years, and they’ve been with me every step of the way. From walking on at Syracuse and earning my spot, to coming back from a torn ACL, to helping my team win an ACC Championship—they always had the plan, the science, and the support to keep me moving forward.
Their coaching helped me become a 2x All-ACC Team selection, a Tewaaraton Award Semifinalist, the ACC Offensive Player of the Year, and ultimately a PLL All-Star.
The coaches at Salient are true professionals who know their craft inside and out. They don’t just train you—they build you into the athlete you’re meant to be.
